Fundraising Update 2018

We are pleased to tell you that our 50th anniversary celebrations in Wyke gardens raised an amazing £1120.00. Thank you to all of you who supported us with donations and for those of you that came along and made it such a great day!

We were also chosen as a beneficiary by Weymouth Rotary Club to receive a cheque from monies raised from  fayre in the square. Proceeds from this event were shared between 28 local groups. Our chairperson went along for the evening and received a cheque for £330.00.

Earlier in the year we were chosen as the Co-ops community fund. as a member you can earn money for us each time you shop, just remember to go online and choose us as your cause. The community fund will be running until October 2018.

In addition to this fantastic fund, staff from surrounding stores came together as a team to give our outside areas some much needed TLC.  The co-op team spent the day trimming hedges, clearing weeds, widening our pathway digging over the garden and treating our wooden fencing.

They also presented us with £250 which has gone towards new balance bikes and trikes for the children.
